NIGERIAN NAVY RELEASES SENIOR OFFICERS PROMOTION
1. The Nigerian Navy Board recently approved the promotion of 126 senior officers to various ranks. The promotions which were released on Monday, 28 November 2011, produced 11 Rear Admirals, 40 Commodores, 56 Captains and 19 Commanders.
2. The newly promoted Rear Admirals include Commodores IA Ajuonu, DO Osuofa, AA Sam-sele, SH Usman and AG Inusa. Other Commodores also promoted were OE Ekwe, SU Chinweuba, AA Yusuf, SA Orie, A Shettima and OU Emele.
3. The officers were decorated with their new ranks by their respective Administrative Authorities.
